With a 2.3 million net acre leasehold position, the Company is targeting substantial reserves in its core coal bed methane, shale gas and tight gas sand properties located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. In total, the division plans to participate in 674 (498 net) wells in 2007. Focus areas include Virginia's Nora Field, one of the premier coal bed methane fields in the country, where drilling continues to ramp up. On existing spacing, approximately 2,700 locations remain to be drilled in the field. Infill drilling is currently being tested, and if successful, has the potential to almost double the number of remaining locations. In addition, the recent transaction with Equitable Resources provides the Company with a greater working interest in the wells and pipelines and paves the way for shale exploration on this acreage. In a second area of focus, the Pennsylvania shale gas play, Range is significantly expanding drilling and leasing efforts. Our leasehold position now exceeds 470,000 net acres, and we have opened a regional office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to focus on this effort. A total of 30 vertical and 15-18 horizontal wells are planned in 2007 to further test the play. Finally, the Company plans to participate in 261 gross wells in its shallow tight gas sand plays, which continue to generate low-cost, low-risk opportunities.
