RANGE ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER CONFERENCE CALL

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, JULY 18, 2002…RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE: RRC) today announced that its second quarter earnings release will be issued after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, August 1.
