RANGE APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER  

 

 

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 25, 2003…RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE: RRC) announced today that Roger S. Manny will join the Company as its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer on October 1.

 

Mr. Manny brings 23 years of financial and management experience to Range.  Since 1998, Mr. Manny had been with Matador Petroleum Corporation, serving as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Matador was recently sold to a larger independent.  Prior to 1998, Mr. Manny spent 18 years at Bank of America and its predecessors where he served as Senior Vice President in the energy group.  Mr. Manny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston and a Masters of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University.       

 

Range also announced that Dori Ginn, the Company’s controller has been promoted to Vice President – Controller.        

 

John H. Pinkerton, the Company’s President, commented, “We are delighted Roger will be joining Range.  Given his extensive financial background and management track record, he is an ideal person to become our Chief Financial Officer.  We are confident Roger will make a significant contribution to our future growth and profitability.  By promoting Dori to Vice President, we are recognizing the exceptional contribution she has made over the past two years in helping Range build a strong accounting and finance organization.”
