RANGE APPOINTS AUDITORS FOR 2003
FORT WORTH, TEXAS, MARCH 26, 2003…RANGE RESOURCES CORPORATION (NYSE:
RRC) today announced that it has
appointed auditors for 2003.
After evaluation of the Company’s audit requirements, the Audit Committee
engaged Ernst & Young LLP as the Company’s independent auditors to replace
KPMG LLP. As a result, both Range and
its 50% owned Appalachian joint venture, Great Lakes Energy Partners, LLC, will
have their financial statements audited by the same independent public
accounting firm.
The change in auditors was not the result of any disagreement on any
matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure,
or auditing scope or procedure.
