John H. Pinkerton, President, Range Resources, became a Director in 1988. He joined the Company and was appointed President in 1990. Previously, Mr. Pinkerton was Senior Vice President-Acquisitions of Snyder Oil Corporation. Prior to joining SOCO in 1980, Mr. Pinkerton was with Arthur Andersen. Mr. Pinkerton received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas
   
Jeff L. Ventura, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, joined the Company in July 2003. From 1997 until its sale in July 2003, Mr. Ventura was with Matador Petroleum Corporation, most recently serving as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to 1997, Mr. Ventura spent eight years at Maxus Energy Corporation where he managed engineering and development operations and was responsible for coordinating engineering technology. Previously, Mr. Ventura was with Tenneco, where he held various engineering and operating positions. Mr. Ventura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University.
   
Roger S. Manny, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, joined the Company in October 2003. Previously, Mr. Manny served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Matador Petroleum Corporation. Before joining Matador in 1998, Mr. Manny spent 18 years at Bank of America and its predecessors where he served as Senior Vice President in the energy group. Mr. Manny holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Houston Baptist University.
   
Herbert A. Newhouse joined the Company in 1998 as Senior Vice President - Gulf Coast. Previously, Mr. Newhouse served as Executive Vice President of Domain Energy Corporation. Prior to joining Domain, Mr. Newhouse was with Tenneco for over 17 years. He has more than 30 years of operational and managerial experience in oil and gas exploration and production. Mr. Newhouse received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University.
   
Chad L. Stephens joined the Company in 1990. He was named as Senior Vice President - Corporate Development in 2002, and prior to that he served as Senior Vice President - Southwest. From 1988 until 1990, Mr. Stephens was with Duer Wagner & Co., an independent oil and gas producer. He spent the previous four years as an independent oil operator in Midland, Texas. From 1979 to 1984, Mr. Stephens was with Cities Service Company and HNG Oil Company. Mr. Stephens received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Land Management from the University of Texas.
   
Rodney L. Waller, Senior Vice President and Secretary, joined the Company in 1999. Mr. Waller had been with Snyder Oil Corporation, now part of Devon Energy Corporation, since 1977, where he served as a Senior Vice President. Before joining Snyder, Mr. Waller was employed by Arthur Andersen. Mr. Waller is a certified public accountant and petroleum landman. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harding University.
