Network Administrator
Range Resources Corporation is seeking an individual with 5 years experience to work in our Hartville, OH office.
We are seeking someone to perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the installation and maintenance of microprocessor based computer systems and networks.
The position will require experience supporting Microsoft products as well as Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CompTIA A+ Certified, CCNP and experience with Cisco IPT is a plus for the position.
Duties are as follows:
Install, configure, and support our organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system.
- Maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
- Will supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.

Land Administrator
We have an immediate opening in our Abingdon Virginia office for the position of District Land Assistant.
Responsibilities will include review of title opinions, division orders, leases and other land rights documents. Will be responsible for verifying ownership changes and preparing transfers, along with entering lease and ownership information into the computer system. Will assist Landmen by researching and assimilating ownership and land rights information and will monitor well and lease status, including payments of annual delay rentals, minimum royalty payments, shut-in royalties, and other obligations, and coordinating all payments with the Accounting Dept.
Duties will also include obtaining property numbers for new oil and gas wells and prospects, sending notification/election letters, and providing support to the District Landman on contract preparation and review.
The position requires proficiency in spreadsheet, database and word processing software, along with the ability to learn new industry-specific programs.
A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required. A college decree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in oil and gas land operations, with an understanding of related functions. Previous supervisory experience will be a plus. Should possess a strong understanding of accounting techniques and a high math aptitude.

Petroleum Geologist
This position will require experience in the exploration and development of coalbed methane and conventional/non-conventional reservoirs in the Appalachian Basin. The position requires strong subsurface mapping and log analysis skills. It will be necessary for the qualified applicant to possess good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Geographics. Work will be performed in the office as well as in the field. Some travel may be necessary.

This position will require experience in drilling and completion operations, production operations, and reservoir engineering in the Appalachian Basin.
