Range’s community partnerships go way beyond financial support. Over the years we have listened to our partners and realized lending a helping hand is what truly makes a difference.

This spring, our employee volunteers partnered with six Washington County townships to focus on environmental improvement opportunities. These beautification and revitalization projects serve to celebrate Earth Day with Washington County communities.

Our volunteers made a difference this Earth Day in these local communities:

  • Somerset Township: Our volunteers picked up litter alongside Carlton Drive, which sits below I-70.
  • North Strabane Township: Range employees helped beautify the grounds of both North Strabane Park and Municipal Building by planting flowers and spreading new mulch.
  • Smith Township: Our Earth Energizers maintained our Forest Management area and planted 1,200 saplings near one of our existing well sites.
  • Chartiers Township: Our employee volunteers held a stream and environment clean up along Chartiers Creek and bagged several truckloads worth of debris found in and around the creek along Arden Station Road.
  • Hopewell Township: If you drive past Seminary Road in Hopewell Township, we hope you enjoy seeing more greenery beneath the trees as our volunteers address this road’s litter in late April.
  • Buffalo Township: In early May, Range employees will gather to beautify the flagpole at the Township Municipal Building.
