Range Resources is proud to be an official partner of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (WED) 2026, which launched on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
World Engineering Day is an official International Day, proclaimed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and managed by the WFEO (World Federation of Engineering Organizations), WED is an annual, year-long celebration of engineers and the engineering industry.

The theme this year is “Smart engineering for a sustainable future through innovation and digitalization.” The internationally recognized day is also an opportunity to highlight the essential role that engineering plays in achieving the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), of which Range is aligned.
Range Resources’ strategy is aligned with SDG 7, Affordable and Clean Energy, by focusing on operational efficiency, methane emissions reduction, and safety. Advanced monitoring systems detect leaks early, while improved processes reduce environmental impact.
This collaboration further emphasizes that both Range Resources and natural gas are essential in creating a sustainable, affordable, and reliable future of energy.
Range Resources CEO and President, Dennis Degner, knows that Range’s dedication to setting industry standards is what sets the Company apart. “What really makes Range unique is how we incrementally improve and challenge ourselves, whether it’s operationally, technically, or how we think about giving back,” says Degner.

Being an official partner of WED 2026 highlights Range’s unwavering commitment to emissions reductions, innovation, and protecting the communities where we operate.
The innovative and sustainable practices are led by Range’s talented teams, including our highly skilled engineers who continue to push the Company forward.
Seng-Chuan Tan, President of the WFEO, says: “World Engineering Day brings together engineers, governments, academia, industries and individuals to exchange ideas, drive innovation and take meaningful action. Collaboration is essential – we must work together to transform innovative ideas into real-world impact. When we bring together different voices, perspectives and expertise, we create stronger, more sustainable solutions.”
